The short version
Hostinger gives a full refund on most hosting plans if you cancel within 30 days of buying them. That covers web, WordPress, cloud and VPS hosting and the Website Builder. You don't have to give a reason.
The exceptions matter more than the rule. Domain registrations aren't refundable. If your plan came with a free domain and you claimed it, expect its cost to come out of the refund. After day 30, hosting isn't refunded at all.

Why the 30 days start at purchase, not at setup
The clock starts when you pay, not when you install WordPress or point your domain. If you buy now and only start building in three weeks, you have about one week to decide.
So test early. Install the site or log in to the VPS on the first day, run whatever you need to check (speed, email delivery, your app's build), and decide while the guarantee still applies.
How to request a refund
It takes a few minutes in hPanel:
- Log in to hPanel and open Billing, then Subscriptions.
- Find the plan you want refunded and open its settings.
- Choose the option to cancel the subscription. Inside the 30 days, hPanel offers an immediate cancellation with a refund.
- Pick a reason (any reason is fine), check the refund amount it shows, and confirm.

How long the refund takes
Hostinger approves the refund on its side quickly, often the same day. How long it takes to reach you depends on your payment provider. Cards usually take 5–10 business days to show the credit, and wallets are often faster.
If the money hasn't arrived after two weeks, ask support for the refund reference and give it to your bank or wallet provider.
Refunds and renewals
The 30-day guarantee is for new purchases. Don't count on it for a renewal you forgot to stop. The reliable fix is to turn off auto-renewal as soon as you know you won't keep a plan. It stays active until the end of the term you paid for.
